Finding Hope in Autism is our scholarship program designed to help children receive diagnostic and support services NOT covered by insurance, private funding, or governmental assistance. This includes services, such diagnostics, speech, occupational, behavior therapy, BUDS® social skills and TeenWORKS™ vocational skills. Scholarship awards are based on a sliding income scale, existing medical coverage, and funding availability. Applicants are strongly encouraged to seek other resources while waiting on our list.
“I have to say this organization, and their Social Worker Rebecca are amazing. I called Grant a Gift the day after I found out my son had autism. He was only 19 months old. I had just found out he had mild cerebral palsy 6 months earlier and then to find out he had autism broke my heart. But Rebecca and Grant a Gift were such a comfort and resource to me and helped me delve into a world that I knew nothing about. It’s hard to explain how grateful, but thank you for the positive attitude, for never turning me away and always answering our questions, for offering advice and comfort and for awarding my son a scholarship for services. We will always remember your kindness.” ~ KR
