UNLV Medicine
Autism Center

To ensure every infant, child, adolescent and young adult with autism or neurodevelopmental challenges has access to a medical home that provides high quality, multi-specialty diagnostic treatment and intervention services.

Through a partnership with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine, the UNLV Medicine Ackerman Autism Center broke new ground, literally and figuratively, in Las Vegas. Located on nearly 10,000 square feet, the center is truly groundbreaking in its approach and model. Carrying forth on the mission and standards of care developed by Grant a Gift® and its partners, the center has established a vision that changes the dynamic of autism care.

As such, this model will become the standard for autism treatment, diagnosis, research, programming and education in Nevada and the West Coast. Promising to provide a family-centered model of care that has a comprehensive continuum of support over the life span.

Our vision is to be recognized by our patients, medical professionals, universities and associates as the leader/innovator in autism research and services and the center that changed the boundaries on how individuals with autism and families improve their quality of lives.

With your help, our goal is to initially touch every person with autism up to 22 years of age in Southern Nevada, and reach the minority populations that are tremendously under-served. And remove financial barriers that touch all socioeconomic backgrounds.
